University Police

If the incident of violence occurred on campus, you'll want to contact University Police. When you call, simply share that you'd like to file a report with an officer. You may have to provide some detail about what you are calling about. At this point, you can specify whether or not you would like a male/female officer to take your report, and almost always, the University Police will send an officer to your location. If you'd like an advocate to be with you when you report to University Police and it's during business hours, you can contact the IPV Support & Prevention Coordinator, or Title IX Coordinator. At any time of day, OASIS is also available to advocate for you. Just call OASIS's hotline at 828-262-5035.
